Crus-inn - a great Kiwi bach nestled among the bush and right on the beach. A lovely safe swimming beach, excellent for children, sand castles and strolling. Great Deck with expansive views of Golden Bay.

Watch the sun and moon rise right out of the sea from deck. Relax here, and soak up the sea. Just wander out onto the beach and you can swim, fish, kayak, or stroll for miles along the endless golden sands. With a log fire and sunny winter days Crus-inn is a fabulous get-away all year round.

There's also lots of great exploring and activities nearby. Pakawau is located near the base of Farewell Spit and so it is easy to explore the spit, its fossil cliffs and diverse bird life, (safaris can pick you up at the Pakawau Shop), the seacaves of the wild West Coast beach of Wharariki, and the calm waters of Westhaven Inlet. Other nearby activities include: horse riding, caving, climbing, fishing, sea kayaking, tramping and four-wheel drive safaring; and there's lots of great local artists and funky cafes to visit. Only 5 minutes drive to Campground Shop, tennis courts, kayak hire and Schoolhouse Cafe.

Five minutes by car to the south is Collingwood with its restaurants, internet cafes, supermarket and petrol station. Drive ten minutes north to Farewell Spit Café, your base for exploring Farewell Spit and Farm Park.
